- Doris and her problems are at it again. The way she solved this murder was brilliant and so surprising. Never even guessed it.
- Doris Cudlow is a busy lady. She has a story to write about an old ice cream parlor, thefts and 2 murders to investigate. Her landlady continues to provide humor and it seems like the whole town has their noses in Doris's business. Come along and see how Doris goes about solving these mysteries with their twists and turns. The plot is well thought out. The story is well written and flows. Characters are interesting and fleshed out. I didn't want to put the book down. Had to know what happened next!!
I voluntarily received a copy of this book and I'm voluntarily posting a review. My opinion is entirely my own. - Doris is a wonderful character. Flawed and down to earth, she has many redeemable traits. This story was really a blast to read, the mystery had lots of twists and more than enough downs to keep Doris busy. But she is a fighter and kept getting up when she was knocked down. You will love the residents of Golden Shores Elderly home. They are so full of life and will keep you laughing at their antics. Anyone have any rotten tomatoes available? This book needs to be on your reading list.
- Another great book by Ms. Lewis. Doris is at it again in this second book she has a friend die is it murder of natural causes. Look no further for you next murder mystery. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a thrilling murder mystery.

The plot is tight and multi-layered, and there is an unexpected ending. It was an enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to future installments. - This book is the second Doris Cudlow mystery I've read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had funny and quirky characters as well as a good plot. I highly recommend it to other cozy mystery readers.
- Fast paced easy reading story! I have read all of the series N. C.Lewis has written. What wonderful detailed stories. She always tricks me though in "who done it"
